Asia Tea Time

 agCHATS Ancient Asia Civilization educational event. Learners will engage in Japanese, Chinese & Korean history while actively participating in a traditional tea.
An Asian costume set includes a Kimono, flowered hair stick, and fan per learner & doll for an additional $35.

Activity focus: A traditional tea. Learn & practice the different tea cermonies.
Craft focus: A calligraphy bookmark.

Cultural focus: Learn the proper tea etiquette & the proper handling of chopsticks/hashi.
Historical focus: The Silk Road trading route expanded from East to West.
Art focus: The appreciation of delicate writing symbols in calligraphy & woodblocks.
Travel focus: Map of different countries in Asia.
Social focus: The art of learning and practicing the manners & etiquette in an Asian country.
